Some positive news for Belfast
I'm pleased to see some really strong inward investment in technology and people going into a favourite place of mine, Belfast. I've always liked Belfast - what made it very pleasant for me were my colleages at Sopra, where I worked before founding NIT. Big shout out to Conrad and John and the boys over there ! Brief, but happy days !

TCP flaw exposed by Outpost24 now patched
This article originally appeared on The Register in October, nearly a year ago. Outpost24 one of our partners discovered it. The write up is interesting, but the final quote is one of those very strange sentences that make no logical sense ! "I'm reasonably certain they're absolutely vulnerable." I imagine Juniper won't be happy with that statement though eitherway you try to interpret it !

Is Your Medical Information Safe...?
Here's a great article that fully outlines why companies should be deploying laptop encryption within their organisation to protect the information they hold.
You can read this article by clicking here.
This article outlines health information specifically however the principle still applies to everywhere.
They've even highlighted the 10 worst incidents of laptops being lost containing 1,000's upon 1,000's of personal records. You can read who made the 'Lost Laptop Hall of Shame' here.
Why gamble with the chance of you losing a device contaning details of your clients when you can implement a strategy for laptop security and the security of the devices which leave your organisation on a daily basis containing all this sensitive data.
Network Integration can help you implement and manage an encryption solution and we will be more than happy to talk to you about the options you have available.
